ETA ASCON GROUP requires the following personnel for their Power Projects Division, Abudhabi, UAE ETA Power Projects Division has the expertise of executing electrical projects from 11kV to 400kV Substations, EHU/HV/ MV cabling, Power Stations etc. ETA-PPD invites prospective candidates for the following positions.
1. Sr. Project Manager/Project Manager (Age above 40 yrs.) – (Ref No: SPM/PM: PPD 001)
Qualification: Graduate (BE Hons)/Masters in Engineering Electrical
Experience: Minimum 20 years experience in 33kV – 132kV (or above) Substation
Should have worked as Senior Project Manager/Project Manager for minimum 10 years with knowledge in functionality of Substation Equipments, Civil – Electrical
/ Mechanical coordination, Understanding drawings, Sequence of construction, installation, Site Quality Procedure/Plan, Programme, Manpower assessment,
deployment and Control, Cost Control, Communication in English (Speaking/Writing).
2. Site Manager (Age above 35 yrs.)-(Ref No: SM: PPD 006)
Qualification: Graduate/Masters in Engineering Electrical
Experience: Minimum 15 years experience in 33kV – 132kV (or above) Substation
Should have worked as Site Manager for minimum 5 years with knowledge in functionality of Substation Equipments, Civil – Electrical / Mechanical coordination,
Understanding drawings, Sequence of construction, installation, Site Quality Procedure/Plan Programme, Manpower assessment deployment and Control, Cost
Control, Communication in English (Speaking/Writing).
3. Engineering Manager (Age above 35 yrs.)-(Ref No: EM: PPD 005)
Qualification: Graduate (BE Hons)/Masters in Engineering Electrical
Experience: Should have minimum 15 years experience in working for Substation Design and detailed Engineering, involving Switchgear, Transformer, Control ((SCMS
preferred) & Protection, Planning, guiding Engineering team and have knowledge in Standards.
4. Sr. Engineer Design Electrical (Age above 28 yrs.) -(Ref No: SEDE: PPD 010)
Qualification: Graduate/Masters in Engineering Electrical
Experience: Should have minimum 8 years experience in working for Substation Design and detailed Engineering involving Switchgear, Transformer, Control &
Protection and have knowledge in Standards.
5. Design Engineer Electrical (Age above 25 yrs.) -(Ref No: DEE: PPD 016)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering Electrical
Experience: At least 5 years Good Knowledge of Protection philosophies for various electrical equipment in the substation & Numerical Relays of reputed makes &
Protection Schemes of EHV/HV/MV substations.
6. Sr. Engineer Design Civil (Age above 28 yrs.) -(Ref No: SEDC: PPD 009)
Qualification: Graduate/Masters in Civil and Structural
Experience: At least 8 years working experience in relevant area with good knowledge in STAAD PRO, ETAP and Knowledge of all applicable civil standards.
7. Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (Age above 25 yrs.) -(Ref No: E&IE: PPD 011)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering Electrical
Experience: At least 5 years Good knowledge in Reviewing & understanding of engineering design documents, drawings and quality control procedures.
8. Commissioning Manager (Age above 35 yrs.)-(Ref No: CM: PPD 007)
Qualification: Graduate/Masters in Engineering Electrical
Experience: Should have minimum 15 years experience in design & testing with at least 5 years (or above) experience in Testing and Commissioning of 11kV to 132kV
(or above) Substation Equipments viz. Relays, Transformers, Switchgear etc. Should be able to organize testing programme, decide shutdown schedule, assess and
organize manpower, organize marked up/as built drawings, test report, co-ordinate with Clients/Consultants.
9. Testing and Commissioning Engineer (Age above 25 yrs.)-(Ref No: T&CE: PPD 008)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering Electrical
Experience: At least 5 years Good experience in Testing & Commissioning of Substations, plan for site operations, co-ordination, and preparation of SAT formats, redmarked
up drawings, as-built/Consultant handing over and completion of project.
10. Contracts and Procurement Manager (Age above 30 yrs.) -(Ref No: CPM: PPD 003)
Qualification: Graduate (BE Hons)/Masters in Engineering Electrical,
Experience: At least 10 years substantial experience in understanding the electrical requirements, review specification, create contractual documents, provide
expert advice and handle all contractual matters, agreements of all kinds, contracts, tenders, risk, claims and disputes that are governed by contracts with Clients,
Subcontractors, Suppliers.
11. Contracts Engineers (Age above 25 yrs.) -(Ref No: CE: PPD 014)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering Electrical
Experience: Should have minimum 5 years of experience in studying tender specifications and consolidating equipment specifications from the tender document,
floating enquiries, follow-ups and receiving competitive quotes, analyzing offers and comparing with specification requirement.
12. Quantity Surveyor (Age above 25 yrs.) -(Ref No: PS: PPD 019)
Qualification: Diploma/Engineering in Electrical & Civil
Experience: At least 6 years preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and undertaking cost analysis for new construction, modification
and maintenance project works. RIGS certified QS preferred.
13. Planning Control Manager (Age above 35 yrs.) -(Ref No: PCM: PPD 002)
Qualification: Graduate (BE Hons)/Masters in Engineering Electrical/Civil Engineering
Experience: At least 15 years substantial experience in planning, progress measurement, cost control, change management and document control on engineering,
procurement for mega/ complex projects 33kV up to 400KV, Substation projects with extensive EHV/HV/MV cabling and excellent knowledge in Primavera P6.
14. Planning Engineer (Age above 25 yrs.) -(Ref No: PE: PPD 015)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering Electrical
Experience: At least 5 years Good knowledge establishing and implementing the correct Project planning procedures, cost control, approval of the baseline project
schedule, project progress review (actual vs. planned).
15. Quality Assurance Manager ( Age above 30 yrs)-(Ref No: QAM: PPD 004)
Qualification: Graduate (BE Hons)/Masters in Engineering Electrical
Experience: At least 10 years Substantial knowledge in QMS and ISO standards, Electrical equipments, Good Quality of claim & sub-contractor management, should
be a trained Lead Auditor, should have good experience in internal/external audits.
16. Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer (Age above 30 yrs.) -(Ref No: SQAE: PPD 012)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering Electrical
Experience: At least 8 years excellent knowledge in implementing the best quality process as per ISO standards and QMS.
17. Quality Assurance Engineer (Age above 25 yrs.) -(Ref No: QAE: PPD 013)
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering Electrical
Experience: At least 5 years excellent knowledge in implementing the best quality process as per ISO standards and QMS.
18. Draughtsman (Age above 25 years )-(Ref No: DR: PPD 017)
Qualification: ITI, Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical & Civil with Auto CAD Certification
Experience: At least 5 years Good in preparing drawings as per the specifications and adhering to the schedule of preparing the drawings.
19. HR Executive (Age above 25 yrs.) -(Ref No: HE: PPD 020)
Qualification: Any Graduation Degree/ Masters in HRM
Experience: At least 5 yrs of experience in HR activities which includes pre and post recruitment process, training, co-ordination & good in interpersonal/communication skills.
20. Project Secretary (Age above 25 yrs.)-(Ref No: PS: PPD 018)
Qualification: Any Graduation Degree
Experience: At least 3 yrs to provide full secretarial and admin support to the project team and to coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure,
including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondences.
Prior experience in Oil and Gas Sector (especially ADCO/ADGAS/GASCO Abu Dhabi) will be preferable
